
Stetson was glad to support the successful project "My place in life", which took place at the aid association for children with cancer in Cologne and was accompanied by lots of sunshine and good mood. The idea of the project was created by a dynamic team, which studies at a vocational school for social pedagogy in Cologne. Lisa Hentz, Cathleen Drossmann, Janine Nassenstein, Yvonne Breuer, Leonie Rodemers and Christina Pfahl took care of the organisation and execution of this event, which addressed the siblings of children with cancer. Apart from the children with cancer, also their siblings experience a hard time. The motto of the project: Games and the design of chairs! This enabled creative self-expression and focused attention for the 8-10 children during the two project days. Living up to its name "Rust'N Dust", the Hot Rod and motorbike race sponsored by Stetson in Teterow (Germany) was a fascinating spectacle. It was a great pleasure to experience this festival, as we never saw something suchlike before! Thanks to the Stetson Hot Rod team (Pssssst, we'll not reveal too much about that now, a report will follow!), we were introduced into the scene in a very friendly way. About 70 starters participated in the constancy race, trying their best to drive two tours in an equal time. The mountainous circle (see photo) was quite a challenge for some of the cars, but everybody mastered the route. The atmosphere was fabulous! All kinds of fantastic looking Motorbikes, Hot Rods and custom cars were all over the place. A lot of car loving people in a great mood, exchanging their experience and tips. A highlight: Stetson hats and caps were visible everywhere...
